Introduction of Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee

Commenced in December 2013 in Beijing, Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee is set up as a national academic organization registered in Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Currently, the committee has more than 500 members and 51 Standing Committee members. The committee is chaired by the ISMST designate Professor Xing Gengyan from Orthopedics Department, Hospital of Armed Police Force, and has 9 vice chairmen: Professor Zhou Mouwang from Peking University Third Hospital, Professor Zhang Jianzhong from Beijing Tongren Hospital, Professor Liu Yajun from Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Professor Li Zhongli from The General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, Professor Man Libo from Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Professor Li Yunxia from Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Professor Huang Zhenjun from The General Hospital of Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Staff Headquarters, Professor Huang Chongxia from Guangzhou Orthopaedic Trauma Hospital, and Professor Xie Qing from Ruijing Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Also, members are academic leaders in key provincial and city tertiary hospitals that have regional influences, have engaged in innovative researches on shock wave for a long time and are prone to promoting development of shock wave medicine.
