Summary of the 1st managing board conference

The first managing board congress of the Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee was successively held in Beijing on March 15, 2014, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Professional Committee, Professor Xing Gengyan. Firstly, Xing GengYan chairman retrospectively summarized the inaugural meeting of the Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee in 2013, and issued the appointment certificates of the Standing Committee members. Subsequently, Yan Ying, General Secretary of the Medical Service Standards Professional Committee, National Health Standards Committee, introduced the importance and requirements of developing health standards. Finally, all the Standing Committee members discussed indications, contraindications, treatment methods and relevant mechanisms, etc., of the shock wave therapy for skeletal muscle diseases, and preliminarily reached a consensus on ESWT for skeletal muscle diseases, but also discussed the development direction and 2014 work plan of the Standing Committee.
