Summary of the 3rd Academic conference in 2015
The Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee hosted “the Third National Academic Conference on Shock Wave Medicine” in Beijing during December 19 ~ 20, 2015. This conference was chaired by Professor Xing Gengyan, chairman of Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee and director of Orthopedics Department, Hospital of Armed Police Force. Guo Yinglu, pioneer of Chinese ESWT and academician of China Academy of Engineering, Zheng Jingchen, president of General Hospital of the Armed Police Force and academician of China Academy of Engineering, as well as Liu Huiliang, vice president of General Hospital of the Armed Police Force attended the conference and delivered important speeches. During the academic conference, about 500 domestic and foreign experts and scholars participated in academic exchanges, and heatedly discussed the field of shock wave medicine. With the deepening basic and clinical research on shock wave therapy, this therapy has been gradually applied in cardiology, endocrinology, burns, plastic surgery, oncology and many other disciplines, presenting broad application prospects. By means of exchange and discussion, this conference promoted the academic exchanges in the field of shock wave medicine, hereby achieved the purpose of learning from each other as well as promoting cooperation and development.
The third managing board congress of the Chinese Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee was successively held in Beijing on December 18, 2015, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Professional Committee, Professor Xing Gengyan. 270 members attend the congress, in accordance with the management of the Professional Committee, 7 Standing Committee members and 130 additional members and youth members were supplemented.
