Summary of the 2nd Academic Conference in 2014

The second Shock Wave Medicine Academic Conference and the second committee meeting were held in Beijing during the period of 1st and 2nd in November  2014. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xing GengYan, chairman of Shock Wave Medical Professional Committee and director of Orthopedics Department, Hospital of Armed Police Force. Professor Wang Qingzhen, the former ISMST chairman and president of Changgung Hospital, Gaoxiong, Taiwan, Professor Li Guoping, chairman of Asian Society of Sports Medicine and president of Sports Hospital of General Administration of Sport, as well as Liu Huiliang, vice president of Hospital of Armed Police Force attended the meeting and delivered important speeches. There were more than 400 delegates. During the academic conference, domestic and foreign experts and professors in the field of shock wave were invited to give speeches and discussions on the relevant disciplines. Also, in accordance with the management of the Professional Committee, 12 Standing Committee members and 64 additional members were supplemented.
